Roberts RFM3 Radio - fully working - converted to Bluetooth - Battery powered only
This Roberts Rambler radio is in such good condition it almost seemed a shame to meddle with it - but we've added Bluetooth functionality with the only external modification being the addition of a Bluetooth on/off switch (not pictured). It can still be used as a regular radio; nothing has been disabled! (Unfortunately the 9V input no longer works - so this radio/Bluetooth speaker can only be used with a 9V P9 battery installed)
It's small enough to throw in a small bag or rucksack so you've got music with you wherever you go.
In use: To use in Radio or Bluetooth mode, the On/Off button must be switched on. Once on, you can use the original radio tuner, or use the Bluetooth switch on the side to turn on Bluetooth mode. You'll also need to be in VHF mode and tune the radio to around 88.3Hz (extreme left of the tuning scale). This might seem a faff, but using the original tuning features to locate the Bluetooth/FM transmitting channel is all part of its charm. An added bonus is that the radio's original volume control works when controlling the Bluetooth volume.
9V P9 battery included.
